Medallion Press hits the road!

LogoApril is turning out to be a busy month for Medallion authors as they hit the road for many upcoming conventions and appearances.

Medallion Press’s first stop is the London Book Fair on April 14th through the 16th at Earls Court, London. A Medallion representative will be on hand to discuss the availability of foreign rights for our titles.

The next stop is in Pittsburgh, PA, from April 16th through the 20th for the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention. Join some of our romance authors, such as Helen A. Rosburg, R. Garland Gray, Cindy Keen Reynders, Kathy Steffen, and Ann Macela as they mix, mingle, and sign their books.

During this five-day convention, you will have the opportunity to join Helen A. Rosburg as she celebrates the August 2008 release of Blaze of Lightning, Roar of Thunder at the Lightning and Thunder Western Extravaganza on Thursday, April 17th at 12:30 p.m.

Set designer and costumer Connie Perry will work her stage magic as cover model and editor Ali DeGray struts her beauty and talent portraying the heroine, Blaze, whose life was consumed with the desire to wreak vengeance on the man who murdered her family.  Also meet Bane, known as the Bringer of Thunder to his people, whose life was devoted to finding and killing the man who had raped his mother.  Take an exciting journey into this vivid and emotional depiction of the Old West and the colorful characters who inhabited it. Get a sneak peek at Blaze and Bane, who bring the pages of Helen’s electrifying western historical Blaze of Lightning, Roar of Thunder to life.

You can also meet Helen as she joins forces with author Heather Graham at The Vampire Ball featuring Blood and Steel: A Pittsburg Monster Mash.

It’s a serious whodunit—and you may be the one to figure it out and win a fabulous prize. Was it the jilted lover, the greedy cousin, the mummy, the goddess, the vampire, the werewolf, the ghoul—or the butler? Maybe it was the butler—or a butler phantom? Bring out your bloody best costume for a rollicking wicked time when the creatures of the night appear, haunt, tease, whisper in the dark, and act like, well, creatures of the night. Get ready to dance, dance, dance. It is, above all, a monster mash!

Stop by the workshop, So You Think You’ve Read Some Wall Bangers, on Wednesday, April 16th at 11 a.m. as Helen and Senor Editor Christy Phillippe present the worst of the publishing world’s slush pile, American Idol reject-style. Readers will get to vote for their idol reject equivalent.

R. Garland Gray will also be co-hosting a private party, Afternoon Delight, for booksellers on Thursday, April 17th.  This private party will be filled with one-on-one chats, delicious treats, and marvelous delights!
